Thinking about upgrading your old iPad to an iPad Air, or a new iPad mini with Retina display? Well, Target wants to help. The retailer is now offering customers at least $200 in store credit when they trade in any old iPad, including the original model.
To take advantage of the deal, just take your old iPad into any Target store with a “Target Mobile” kiosk. Providing it turns on and there are no scratches on its display, you’ll receive a Target gift card worth at least $200 which you can then put towards the cost of a newer model.
$200 isn’t a bad price for an original iPad, or even an iPad 2; it’s more than you’ll get from places like Amazon or Gazelle, and newer devices should be worth even more. Sure, you get the cash on a Target gift card, but if you’re planning to put the money towards a new iPad anyway, that won’t matter.
The deal runs until November 9, so you have just four days to get yourself to your local Target store and pick up your new iPad.
