Just over a week after 2K announced there would be a sequel to their turn-based strategy dogfighting game Sid Meier’s Ace Patrol, we now have details about pricing and release date, along with a wee screen shot to whet our appetites.
As we mentioned last week, players will fly the iron warbirds of World War II’s Pacific theater in Sid Meier’s Ace Patrol: Pacific Skies, instead the original’s wood-and-canvas biplanes of World War I.
2K Games says the game will launch at the App Store on November 7, and cost $5; that’s a departure from the free-to-play, in-app purchase fueled original. The game will also be available for Windows-based PCs two days earlier on November 5, also priced at $5.
