With every new release of the iOS operating system, there’s a chance that Apple will close security holes that the Dev Team needs to make an untethered jailbreak possible. Luckily, it appears that Apple’s new iOS 7.0.3 update is safe, allowing motion sick potential jailbreakers to update with impugnity
On Twitter, Dev Team guru MuscleNerd at first warned potential jailbreakers not to install iOS 7.0.3:
Potential iOS7 jailbreakers should stay away from today's 7.0.3 for now. Too early to tell if it closes anything important for JB.

His tune soon changed, though:
7.0.3's lock screen fixes won't impact the JB (unless Apple's holding back here, hah! https://t.co/wI7A4BHZk2 )

This is good news. Team Evad3rs has reportedly been having good progress with an iOS 7 untethered jailbreak. It’s good to know that that progress hasn’t been flushed down the toilet.
