Boosted no doubt by the surge of sales in the iPhone 3G over the past 30 days, Apple’s phone is now the most-used cell phone camera used to shoot pictures posted to the popular photo-sharing site, Flickr.

This trend doesn’t necessarily reflect a positive thing. As an iphone owner myself, perhaps the only reason we see a spike like is because users can’t picture message (MMS like all other phones can). If we didn’t have this handicap, then I doubt we’d see so many of us using ‘work-arounds’ like flickr, facebook etc…..

MMS you can use Mail doesn’t you?

Those figures are quite surprising considering how long some of the other phones have been around. Still though, shows the iPhone is doing well!

The point of MMS is its about communication between mobile phones…. (No email application necessary).
