Are you unable to download content from the App Store and iTunes this morning? Don’t worry—you’re not the only one. Lots of people are experiencing the same thing, and Apple has acknowledged a problem affecting “some users” on its system status page.
We’ve received a torrent of emails from users experiencing this problem this morning, but it’s unclear what’s behind it at this point. According to Apple’s website, the problem started at around 8:30 a.m. PST, and it’s still ongoing. Apple notes that “users may be unable to make purchases.”
Apple has only acknowledge a problem with iTunes, but we’ve heard from plenty of people who say the same issues are affecting the App Store, too.
