Loads of Weapons, Hordes of Enemies – ‘Gunner Z’ Launch Trailer Impresses

An extreme departure from the look and feel of its first iOS game, Lili, BitMonster’s upcoming Gunner Z is a gritty, scary delight. The developer just released a launch trailer with a stunningly gorgeous bit of the old ultraviolence in this scifi-themed shooter, soon to release on iOS.

The trailer is dark, gritty, and full of awesome night vision battle scenes, showing off the amazing scenery, the scary undead armies, and a host of armored vehicles ready to take on the hordes.

Developer BitMonster is comprised of six industry vets, all of whom worked at Epic Games, a pedigree easily seen in the lush visuals of both Lili and Gunner Z. The exclusive-to-iOS turret combat game will have you creating and modifying a garage full of armored vehicles, or AC-HMVs, that let you remotely control their extensive set of upgradeable weaponry while out in the zombie-infested post-apocalyptic in-game world.

You will take your customized AC-HMV Gun Trucks into a city overrun by an undead army. However, the enemies aren’t merely mindless zombies; a powerful enemy military is using the engineered threat as a tool. This powerful force deploys undead soldiers and huge biological beasts as weapons alongside remotely operated mechanized units such as aerial drones, tracked RPG turrets, APCs, tanks, and more. The only force capable of stopping the undead army is YOU!

If the trailer above is any indication, and I’m sure it probably is, Gunner Z promises to astound us when it releases “soon” to the iOS App Store exclusively.
