First Update For ‘Man Of Steel’ iOS Game Flies In A New Chapter And Price Drop

I believe I can fly.
I believe I can fly.

The first update for Warner Bros’ Man of Steel iOS game is here, and it’s got new story content and a new Superman suit to purchase. The new Skin suit from Krypton gives Kal-El a boost to his power, health, and defense. No more kneeling before Zod!

The game itself is a 3D action brawler with gesture-based combat and cinematic cut scenes, and follows the storyline of the movie, Man Of Steel.

In this new story chapter, Zod has just released the World Engine to terraform Earth into a copy of Krypton, and only Superman can stop the insanity. You’ll get a brand-new cinematic to watch, and then you’ll take on the role of the Man of Steel yourself to defeat the world-spanning threat. The developers promise a new combat mechanic here, as well, so give it a looksee.

The update and story chapter is free to current owners of the Man of Steel or Man of Steel HD apps, while the skin suit will run you . The game is regularly available in the App Store for $4.99, while the iPhone/iPod touch version comes in at $2.99.

However, it looks like at the time of this writing, either app is $0.99, so you have even less of an excuse to check this out on your iPad or iPhone, as well as select Android tablets.
