Mailbox, the popular third-party Gmail client for iOS, has received yet more new features in its latest update. iPhone users can now take advantage of the new landscape mode for a wider look at their mail, and there’s now support for Gmail’s “send as” aliases.

You can now set up Gmail aliases from within Mailbox’s Settings menu; just tap on your Gmail account and then select “Gmail Aliases.” Any aliases you enter will be verified in Gmail settings, so make sure you have them set up properly first. If aliases cannot be verified, emails will automatically be sent from your default account.

In addition to landscape mode on iPhone and support for aliases, Mailbox version 1.3.2 promises more bug fixes. You can download the update from the App Store now, and as always, Mailbox is completely free.
