Virgin Mobile has today announced that it will be launching the iPhone 5 on Friday, June 28. The handset will be available on its Beyond Talk plans, which offer unlimited 3G and 4G LTE data and unlimited messaging for $35 per month. Prices for the iPhone 5 itself start at $549.99.
That’s for the 16GB model, while the 32GB model will cost $649.99, and the 64GB model will cost $749.99. All three models are $100 less than those available unlocked from Apple, and Virgin will be offering both the black and white variants.
Virgin is one of a number of prepaid carriers now offering the iPhone 5 in the U.S. following its arrival on Cricket last September, and Straight Talk this January.
