EE has expanded its rapidly-growing 4G LTE network yet again to cover an additional 12 markets across the United Kingdom. This expansion brings the total number of markets up to 74, and EE claims its 4G services now covers more than 50% of the U.K. population.

The new towns added this week include:

  • Ashton-under-Lyne
  • Chatham
  • Gillingham
  • High Wycombe
  • Merthyr Tydfil
  • Oldham
  • Rochester
  • Runcorn
  • Sale
  • Stafford
  • Wigan

It was only yesterday that EE announced its first 30-day SIM only plans, which allow people to use EE’s network without committing to a year-long contract. They’re particularly useful if you’re waiting for a new phone to come out, or you are happy with your existing phone and you don’t want to sign into a lengthy new contract just to get a new one.

If you’re in one of EE’s 4G LTE compatible locations, be sure to phone up EE today to upgrade – I promise, you won’t regret it.
