WWDC 2013 Tickets Are Now Being Sold On eBay For $10,000

If you weren’t one of the lucky few that bought a WWDC 2013 ticket within the first 120 seconds they were available, then you’re probably super bummed that you’re not going to hangout with Jony Ive and the gang in San Francisco.

Don’t worry though, you can still get into the party if you’re desperate and have a few extra grand on you. Someone’s already put their WWDC ticket on eBay and the bidding starts at a cool $10,000.

Technically, you’re not allowed to transfer your ticket (although Apple says it’ll consider exceptions for people working in the same company), and Apple’s WWDC 2013 guidelines also state that tickets “may not be sold, resold, bartered, auctioned, or transferred in any way.”

On one hand, Apple might just ask eBay to kill the auction pretty quickly. On the other hand, Apple might let some silly goober spend $10k on the ticket and then void the ticket if you try to transfer it. The seller notes that they will deliver the badge to you at the venue to avoid Apple’s watchful eye, but we suggest you bid with caution.
