This is the Bison Tote, and it’s just about the hottest laptop/camera bag ever. Unless, of course, you’re a bison. Why? Because the bag is made from bison skin.
The bag is neither cheap nor complex. It’s cut and stitched by hand, and has space inside for a 15-inch MacBook, along with whatever else you might drop in there. There’s also a pocket on the side which is big enough for an iPhone or small cables and adapters.
And that’s it. Those who want padded inserts and all manner of other crap that will at once spoil the bag’s lines and make it weigh a ton will have to wait – HoldFast’s Matthew Swaggart says that there will be an insert for your camera gear coming soon.
Until then, wrap your delicate DSLR or mollycoddled MacBook up in it’s own case and drop it in. The price? A handsome $220 – not bad for a bag that’ll last as long as you, and likely look better in its old age.
