Rdio Update Brings New Album & Playlist Views To iPhone, UI Improvements

By

Rdio

Rdio has today updated its iOS app to introduce new album and playlist views to the iPhone, and to make a number of improvements to the app’s user interface. You can now enjoy large album art, see what your friends have been listening to, and more.

You’ll instantly recognize the changes made to the album and playlist views. Album art now takes up more than half of the display on the iPhone, and you can tap and hold it to add the album to a collection or a playlist, to sync it, or to play it later on. As for the playlist view, that’s been cleaned up a bit and now seems a little less cluttered.

You’ll also find a few of Rdio’s social features in this update, including the ability to see what your friends have been listening to.

If you haven’t already signed up to Rdio, it’s $9.99 per month for mobile access. But if you’re a new customer, you can enjoy a free trial before you decide to spend any cash. You’ll find the Rdio app for iOS by hitting the App Store link below.
