The Hunger Games Adventures 2.0 Updates With iPhone Support, New Content From ‘Catching Fire’

By

welcome

The Hunger Games Adventures, first on Facebook and now on iOS as well, has been rebuilt from the ground up to better work on the iPhone and the iPad, adding in iPhone and Retina support, new content from the 2nd novel and film, Catching Fire, and over 100 new quests to discover with Katniss, Peeta, and the other heroes of Panem.

The Hunger Games Adventures version 2.0 is a huge update to the iOS version of the game, as well as the first time it’s showing up on the iPhone. The universal app rebuilt from the ground up to work the latest Apple devices, including Retina display, Game Center support with achievements, and better touch controls. This new version also gives you new official story-based content and quests that will lead right into the second film from Lionsgate, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, on November 22, 2013.

The game, developed by Funtactix, looks and plays just like the Facebook app, letting you build up Katniss’ camp, quest through some camp building and resource harvesting, encounters with characters from the film and books, as well as a sneak peak at District 1, which features in the next chapter of the story, from the official map of Panem itself.

Interested in checking it out? Head on over to the App Store and download the app for free. The App Store description does note that you’ll need a persistent internet data connection to play the game, and some users are reporting iPad snafus, so bear that in mind as you rush to grab the game.
