Poor Negative Nimbus. He’s so sad, and so full of water, it’s a challenge to sail across the sky without drenching the happy hot dogs and caterpillars out for a picnic lunch, while still watering the happy flowers along the way. What’s a depressed cloud to do?

Apparently, the answer is to launch on Android, via the Google Play store and the Amazon Marketplace. That’s just what CloudKid’s fantastic game, Negative Nimbus, has done for the holiday season.

The game continues to be selling at the $1.99 price point across Google Play, the Amazon marketplace, and the iTunes App Store, and there’s also a Lite version of the game in each of the respective app retail portals. The game not only features fun hats to purchase with in-game coins, but fun comics to be unlocked, as well.

Negative Nimbus-a wonderfully odd game about a very negative little rain cloud.

Help guide Nimbus the curmudgeonly rain cloud through the various worlds of Sunnyland, raining down on all the flowers (they love it!) while trying to keep all of Sunnyland’s other inhabitants dry (they hate rain!). Along the way, players will unlock achievements, comics, new accessories, and meet all of the friendly folk of Sunnyland.

CloudKid is also developing a Nimbus-themed weather app along with several new comics and updates for Negative Nimbus in the coming year.
