Dodocase Durables: A Stylish Sleeve For iPhone 5

Dodocase is back, but this time without the faux-Moleskine iDevice covers. Now you can protect your tall, skinny iPhone 5 with Dodo’s new Durables range of covers, which also come for the MacBook and the iPad.

The leather and canvas cases are just as old-timey in their construction as the bookbindery bamboo cases, and the feature list reads like a page from a historical Sears catalog:

  • Sage waxed duck canvas exterior
  • Orange-poppy cotton interior
  • Genuine mahogany leather for secure hand grip
  • Two pockets for cards and cash
  • Contrast stitching with orange-poppy accent

Our own Killian Bell will be especially pleased with the cash and card pockets, which will let him continue to leave the house on bagless sojourns when he gets his new phone.

The case will cost you $50. And if you are one of the unlucky (read: lazy) people who couldn’t wake themselves in time to pre-order an iPhone 5, then don’t worry. With a 2-3 week lead time on these cases, yours should arrive at the same time as your phone.
