Turborilla, the developers behind Mad Skills Motocross — of the best side-scrolling racing games on iOS — has released its first teaser trailer for Mad Skills BMX, which is coming to iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad on August 16. The clip shows off the upcoming title’s gameplay, and offers a hilarious little cartoon alongside it.
Mad Skills BMX, which is supported by a number of major sponsors including GoPro, Fly Racing, and Red Bull, isn’t just a rehashed version of Mad Skills Motocross. Sure, it boasts the same side-scrolling racer style of play, but according to Turborilla, “it’s its own game,” and “pretty special in its own way.”

Speaking about the trailer, Mad Skills BMX creator, Tobias Andersson, said:
We wanted to do something with our trailer that nobody has ever done for a mobile game. We think the game breaks new ground in the side-scrolling racing genre, and we wanted a trailer that does the same thing. When we stumbled onto IMOV Studios’ work, we knew we’d found our producer. I still crack up every time I watch this thing.
Mad Skills BMX is expected to hit the App Store on August 16.
