Get 93% Off TaskPaper For Mac For Two Dollar Tuesday [Deals]

If other task management apps are too bloated for you, you need TaskPaper.
If other task management apps are just too bloated for you, you need TaskPaper.

TaskPaper for Mac OS X from Hog Bay Software has been reduced to just $1.99 today as part of the Two Dollar Tuesday software promotion. That’s a whopping 93% off its original price tag of $29.99.

If you’re unfamiliar with TaskPaper, it’s a wonderfully simplistic to-do list and task management application from the developers behind WriteRoom. Unlike other solutions, TaskPaper’s bare and minimal user interface “gets our of your way so that you can get things done.”

As you type your to-dos into TaskPaper, they are formatted as projects, tasks, or notes. But it doesn’t force you to use a particular system; it simply provides you with the basic elements and then allows you to use them as you see fit, tailoring your lists to suit you.

TaskPaper has a magic trick. It understands your list’s structure and will instantly filter your list to show only items of interest. TaskPaper’s filter system is simple to use—focus on a particular project or tag with a single tap. It also supports advanced searching if need.

If you find other task management applications are just too bloated and cumbersome, you should certainly give TaskPaper a try. At just $1.99, it’s an absolute bargain.

TaskPaper is also available on iOS.

It’s great that they are having a sale, but $30 is ridiculously over the top for a price for a simple task manager. The entire OS only costs $30 and is currently being reduced to $20.

I think they will make more money at the $1.99 price point, but the non-sale price should really have been $4.99 or less to begin with.
