New Just Type Notes App Is Better Than Apple’s Own Solution

Just Type includes many features that Apple's own Notes app lacks.

The Notes app bundled with the iPhone is great for quick little notes, but it hasn’t really changed since the original iPhone, and offers very few options other than a selection of three fonts. For those that want an app more powerful than Notes, but not as advanced as something like Pages for the iPhone, Just Type by Shubham Kedia might just be the perfect notes app.

Just Type, which is available for free right now in the App Store, is an easy to use and clean app which replicates many of the functions of Apple’s own Notes app. What sets it apart, though is the additional features that it provides, such as font resizing, bolding text, color-coding notes, and more.

Similar to notes, Just Type has a share button which allows you to perform certain actions, such as emailing as text or as an attachment, printing, copying, and messaging. Some other features include automatic lists (similar to Word or Pages), iCloud sync between the iPhone and iPad, and starring notes.

According to Macgasm, Just Type is also appealing because it offers a layout similar to Sparrow, the popular Email application for iOS. Many actions within the app are performed with simple swipes to the left and right.

With a price of free, it doesn’t hurt to try out Just Type for yourself, available here from the App Store.
