Verizon’s Summer Forecast: Blazing With A High Of 4G LTE

Verizon continues to put other carriers to shame with their 4G LTE network. In one day, Verizon manages to blanket more markets than most carriers do in months. At the current rate of expansion, I’d say most other carriers are year’s behind, and according to Verizon’s current forecast, it’s going to get worse.

This summer, Verizon plans to bring 4G LTE to another 20+ markets across the U.S. No matter where you travel this summer, chances are you’ll be taking those blazing fast 4G LTE speeds with you. I’m not going to lie, I’m extremely happy knowing I have this kind of coverage (even though I certainly pay for it) and I’ll be taking full advantage of it while on the road later this month.

I hope you have some time to spare, because the list you’re about to read is pretty extensive. The following markets should be seeing 4G LTE by June 21st:

Florida (Gainesville)
Gainesville along SR 20 to CR 234, Gainesville Regional Airport, Alachua, Haile Plantation, Kanapaha Park, Lake Kanapaha, Newnans Lake, Lamplighter, Prairie Creek, Paynes Prairie Preserve, Turkey Creek Forest, Flying Ten Airport, San Felasco Hammock Preserve State Park, Dudley Farm Historic State Park, Santa Fe Springs Conservation Area, the University of Florida Agricultural Experimental Farm, and throughout the area west of Interstate 75 northeast of Archer and southeast of High Springs.

Florida (Volusia/Flagler)
Ormond Beach, Ormond-By-The-Sea, Ormond Beach Municipal Airport, Seabridge South, Atlantic Shores, Flagler Beach, Flagler County Airport, Bunnell, Palm Coast, Hammock Beach, Beverly Beach, Ocean Palm Villas South, Bulow, Bulow Oaks, Bulow-Tulow, North Peninsula State Park, Washington Oaks Gardens State Park, Tomoka State Park, Pellicer Creek Corridor Conservation Area, Graham Swamp Conservation Area and Pellicer Creek Aquatic Preserve.

Florida (Palm Beach)
Palm Beach Gardens, Wellington, Greenacres, Royal Palm Estates, Century Village, Lantana, Palm Springs, Golden Lakes, West Boynton Beach and West Boca Raton.

Georgia (Gainesville)
Downtown and residential areas of Gainesville, Oakwood, Clermont, Murrayville and Flowery Branch, Ga. will have access to the nation’s fastest 4G network. Coverage will also include parts of city of Buford along Lake Lanier and along I-985 from GA-20 up to areas near the US-23 / Ramsey Rd. intersection.

Idaho (West) and Oregon (East)
Along the Snake River from the Nyssa Valley to the Weiser Valley, including Ontario and Payette

Idaho (East)
Blackfoot from the Fort Hall Indian Reservation north to Shelley, near the Bingham County line.

Massachusetts (South)
Berkley, Dighton, East Freetown and Lakeville.

Missouri (Springfield/Jefferson City)
Ava, Bolivar, Conway, Halfway, Jefferson City, Lebanon, Marshfield, Mountain View, Phillipsburg, Sundown, Theodosia, West Plains, Willow Springs

Missouri (The Ozarks)
Lake of the Ozarks, Camdenton, Linn Creek, Sunrise Beach, Village of Four Seasons, Osage Beach and Laurie will have access to the nation’s fastest 4G network.

North Carolina (East & The Triangle)
Hickory, Conover, Lenoir, Morganton and Newton.
Jacksonville and New Bern with surrounding areas of Half Moon, Havelock, Riverbend, and the Camp Lejeune military base
Burlington, Elon and Whitsett
The Triangle (already available but expanding to support 100,000 more people)

North Carolina (Charlotte)
Metro Charlotte extending to Concord, Gastonia, Huntersville, Kannapolis, Monroe, Mooresville and Rock Hill. With the planned 4G LTE network expansion this June, residents and travelers in more parts of the city will have access to the nation’s fastest 4G network.

Pennsylvania
Bedford, Indiana County – Armagh, Clymer, Marchand, Marion Center, New Florence, and Strongstown
