Boost Mobile will join Cricket as a prepaid choice for the iPhone.

Cricket Wireless became the first prepaid carrier to offer the iPhone yesterday, but it’s unlikely it’ll be the last. One source claims that both the iPhone 4 and the iPhone 4S will also be arriving on Boost Mobile later this year.

A trusted source for TechnoBuffalo reports that the Sprint-powered mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) will begin offering Apple’s devices in early September — a month before the sixth-generation iPhone is expected to make its debut.

America’s seventh largest wireless carrier will soon be joined by Boost Mobile, as a trusted source has advised that the prepaid carrier will introduce both the iPhone 4 and 4S in early September.

It’s unclear whether Boost will offer the iPhone on its popular $50-per-month unlimited plan, which includes talk, text, and data and rewards customers with $5 credit for paying their bill on time. Or whether it will introduce a new plan specifically for the device.
