Splish Splash, Take Your iPhone For A Bath With The iShower [CES 2012]

LAS VEGAS, CES 2012 – According to maker iDevices, who made news last year with an odd Bluetooth cooking thermometer called the iGrill, the iShower’s entire raison d’être is to remove the “oh crap!” factor of dropping your iOS device into the shower, sink or toilet when all you want to do is listen to some tunes.

The idea behind the iShower is simple. Instead of perching your iPhone or iPad on the sill of the shower, or the sink when you’re washing up, just pair your device and listen to your music on a Bluetooth-enabled speaker up to 200 feet away.

The iShower is, as its name suggests, totally waterproof. It features friendly buttons that are easy to press no matter how lathered up you are, as well as a time-display and a number of easy mounting, standing and hanging options. You can even pair the iShower with up to five different devices and switch between them using the device’s built-in menu on the fly, guaranteeing you don’t have to listen to your wife’s tunes when you’re in the shower lathering up.

The iShower’s not available yet, but should be out by March 31st, at a retail price of $99.99.
