Microsoft today rolled out a bunch of updates that bring a long-awaited dark mode to its Office suite on iOS.

Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote are all a little easier on the eyes (if you want them to be). Dark mode will also help them be kinder on battery life on iPhone models with OLED displays.

Another form of Microsoft Word malware that infects both macOS and Windows machines has been detected.

By

That’s what Reader 7 is here to fix.

It’s an app which can accurately display Word documents with complex formatting.

MakeDoc looks like a good bet for otherwise right-thinking folks who find them selves required to supply a Word DOCX file. Being a smart nerd, you undoubtedly write in Markdown, converting to the required format on output. But DOCX isn;t an output option for most iOS text editors. That’s where makeDoc comes in.

HopTo Is MS Office For The iPad Done Right

By

hopto

HopTo is a great version of Microsoft Word for the iPad. And that’s because it is MS Word, up in the cloud, driving a native iPad app. And you know what? If Microsoft just made the exact same app only with the Word part running locally on the iPad, I’d be happy. It really is nice enough to let you forget you’re using Word.
