Apple Takes Ownership Of iPad3.com Domain Name

Apple now owns iPad3.com, but it’s yet to do anything with it.

Just five days after submitting its complain to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Apple has been granted ownership of the iPad3.com domain name. The address was reportedly transferred to Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton, a legal firm that has represented Apple in the past, within the last 24 hours.

Apple Claims Ownership Of iPhone5.com Domain

If Apple wants ownership of your domain, it's probably going to get it.

Just as we expected, Apple has successfully claimed ownership of the iPhone5.com domain name after filing a complaint with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) earlier this month to have the domain transferred from its existing owner.

According to WIPO’s website, the case has now been terminated.

Apple Seeks Ownership Of Applecom.com & ApplePrinters.com Domains

Register a domain name that attempts to pass for Apple or its products and you'll probably end up losing it.

Ever since the first iPod, Apple has had problems with squatters sitting on top of Apple-related domains, trying to scam people. Here’s another one. It is now seeking to take ownership of the Applecom.com and ApplePrinters.com domains and protect its trademark after filing a complaint with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) on March 29.
