Apple beat Wall Street’s expectations today with its Q3 2018 earnings report. Even though iPhone sales were barely up 1% the company still posted better-than-expected revenues as sales of Apple Watch, services and AirPods picked up the slack leading to Apple’s best Q3 results ever.

Prices of Apple shares skyrocketed closer to the illustrious $204 mark that will make the iPhone-maker the first ever trillion dollar company once the results posted and Tim Cook seemed extremely confident and relaxed on his call with investors this afternoon. While the rest of tech stocks are starting to sink, Apple is as steady ever.

Watch this itsy-bitsy spider get stuck inside an iMac screen

Yes, that's a real spider stuck behind the screen.

Apple’s iMac computers make a surprisingly good home for spiders. Or at least one really tiny spider that found its way in between one shocked owner’s LCD panel and front glass.

The spider can be seen crawling around inside the iMac on a video posted to YouTube. At first, the owner thought it was a digital prank. But when he starts moving different app windows over it and the spider starts running around, he realizes this is no joke.

Apple is preparing to unleash some huge upgrades across its entire product line this fall, according to one of the most reliable analysts in the game.

Mac fans hoping for upgrades will be pleased to hear that the long-neglected Mac mini and iMac are set to get some much-needed updates, based on analyst Ming-Chi Kuo’s latest report. And most of Apple’s other products are going to get some love this fall, too.

So long, aluminum! Why the iMac needs a total redesign.

Will the iMac design ever be this exciting again? The original iMac G3.
Will the iMac ever be this exciting again?

When the first iMac debuted 20 years ago, it shook the tech world with its completely unorthodox appearance. The blobby, curvaceous and colorful computer looked, in Steve Jobs’ words, good enough to lick.

It was a statement computer, both for those who owned it and for those who made it.

However, with the iMac not having had a substantial redesign since 2012, Apple’s all-in-one desktop is getting a bit long in the tooth. It’s time for Apple to give it an overhaul with a new iMac design that would get the world excited about Macs again — and prove Apple remains committed to innovative computing.

There’re also security fixes for Safari 11.1, which was introduced recently too.

The U.S. helped drag down the global totals, with a 2.9 percent decline. Still, that helped push up Apple’s share of the American market to 12.6%.

Cult of Mac's 2017 Apple year in review 2017 was a killer year for new Apple products — and it’s not all because of the iPhone X.

Apple’s design team spun out updates in nearly every single category while also popping out a few all-new products. The Mac Pro and Mac mini were pretty much the only machines that got no love from Apple this year. But with all the new stuff, it’s hard for Apple fans to complain.

New York City is getting a new Apple store this week, only instead of replicating the iconic Fifth Ave glass cube, this time Apple’s going with a giant triangle.

The new store will be Apple’s second retail location in Brooklyn after the company opened a store in Williamsburg last year. Apple’s glass-sided triangle store opens December 2 and is located down the street from the Atlantic Terminal and Barclays Center.
