“Mac Vs. PC” Ads: Sticker Strikes Back

In a twist on the “I’m a Mac” ads, this sticker shows a PC playing solitaire while waiting for the Mac to load a witty retort. Or maybe the PC just froze.

The 4″ x 2.75″ sticker costs $1.50 and, according to the description, was made on a PC.

    Wow! 3 lawsuits in a single (derivative) joke. Hodgson and Long for unauthorised use of their image, and Apple for use of their trademarks (possibly). The satire defence ends where the commerce begins.

    Nice analysis — hadn’t thought of that but you’re right. You’d have to sell a hell of a lot of stickers for some decent legal counsel…

    The PC people are using solitaire as their argument against Macs now? If I really loved card games that much, I’d move to Vegas.
