iPod/iPhone fans are always in search of the perfect speakers to blast their favorite tunes in the most comfortable, affordable and longest-lasting way. While the search for that holy grail continues, Logitech early this morning provided two new entrants – one boast near ’round the clock music and another promising portability but with booming bass.

The S315i’s claim to fame are rechargeable speakers that with their power-saving mode can deliver up to 20 hours of tunes. The $129.99 speakers include a dock for any iPod.

For on-the-go listening, Logitech also introduced the S125i, boasting its AC or battery power, plus an on-demand bass boost. The $69.99 speakers include an iPod dock and measure 7.77-inches x 3.54 inches.

    And do either of them give the dreaded “do you want to put your iPhone in airplane mode” message. Something about not being compatible with the iPhone but still sort of works like most of these do.

    Why aren’t any of them really made for iPhones. My wife is really trying to find one that is that she likes (good sound).
