We end the week with an Apple Store deal on factory-refurbished MacBook notebooks, including a 2GHz aluminum 13-inch model for $899. Also on the gadget deal list is the sleek iLuv 5.1-channel slim desktop iPod DVD player and more price drops on iPhone/iPod touch applications from the App Store.

This device functions as both a DVD player and iPod dock that allows you to watch videos, display photos, or listen to music from your iPod. It is compatible with most iPod models.

(With free shipping, it’s 25 cents under our mention earlier this week and about $51 under similar brand-name travel kits.) This kit includes an FM transmitter with car charger, reusable screen protector, and a silicon case.

EverydaySource.com via eBay offers its Clear Screen Protector 6-Pack for iPhone 3G or 3GS for $1.59 with free shipping. (At 27 cents per unit, that’s slightly under our mention from last week and the lowest total price we’ve seen.) These screen protectors are reusable and purport to protect the iPhone’s screen from scratches and dust. Deal ends at 5:30 am EST on August 28.

The iTunes App Store offers downloads of Samir Roy’s Lemi for iPhone / iPod touch for free. (That’s a buck off and the best deal we’ve seen for this math-based puzzle game.)

Today only, Tanga.com offers a 1-Year Subscription to Mac Life Magazine for $34.99. Coupon code “b763″ slashes it to $4.99. (That’s the lowest total price we could find by $5.) It includes 12 issues.

Beach Camera offers the IceTech Foldable Solar Charger/Battery, model no. i-101, for $19.95. (With free shipping, that’s the lowest total price we could find by $13.) It can be charged via direct sunlight (8-10 hour charge time) or by plugging it directly into an electrical outlet (3-4 hour charge time). Buy.com offers the refurbished Pure Digital Flip Video Ultra 2GB 60-Minute Camcorder in Green, model no. F260, for $74.99 with free shipping. (That ties a Woot deal from April and is $48 under the best we could find for a new one). This 640×480 camcorder holds up to 60 minutes of video on its 2GB of onboard memory. It offers USB connectivity and direct uploading to YouTube and AOL via the included software.
