Boo! Here’s Part 2 of Fun Mac Games for Halloween! This week’s selection from Mac Games and More includes more Halloween inspired games you can play into the weekend. Get ready to scream because in the games you’ll find a seriously spooky psycho, yourself trying to escape a mysterious island, the devil himself settling a score with evil robots and more. If you missed the ghoulish games last week, click here for Part 1.
Trapped The Abduction – Get ready to scream some more, everyone. Yay! The Grim Reaper is heeeeeere … just in time for Halloween. Ok, he’s not exactly the Grim Reaper (but he IS wearing black, is hooded and is scary). He’s a psycho serial killer who has kidnapped Helene and thrown her into the realm of his horrific deviousness. The dude is seriously sadistic. The story inside Trapped the Abduction might grab ideas from the movie Scream – but instead of using his fascination with horror movies to set up his diabolical doings, the killer grabs his inspiration from hidden object games and puzzles. So, during Helene’s incarceration inside an atrocious building set up with surveillance cameras in every room, she must find items and solve puzzles to escape and save her own life…and to add even more creepiness to the equation, he’ll be watching everything she does. Don’t fall for tricks or traps. Download it

RIP Strike Back – Everyone’s favorite antiheroes are back…from the dead and now you can become one of them. Choose to play as Death (aka the Grim Reaper), Halloween (Evil Pumpkin) or Rock-N-Roll (the Devil himself!). Each character has different strengths and skills and at their disposal is an arsenal of upgradeable weapons, tanks, helicopters and turrets. Once equipped get ready to settle a score with the evil robots that are threatening your existence. It’s going to be messy. In fact, the game is a bloody, gory shooter and that will spell FUN for the Texas Chainsaw Massacre crowd. Download it

Abracadabra – Your spellbinding mission with Simon is clear: Find amulets, charms, you must persevere. Use voodoo, concoctions, what ever you please to conjure up strength, get the magical keys. But that’s not all! We forgot one thing. Get moolah, get booty, the golden ka-ching! Gather your treasure. Find a bell, don’t freak. Purchase new powers at the Magique Boutique. If that didn’t make sense, Abracadabra is a arcade game playing Simon, the Wizard. Destroy or create your destiny with the “whack” of a magic wand, collect a key and make your way to the exit in each level. A note: The first four levels are tutorials to get you familiar with the controls. After that, you’re on your own. Get 50% off with this coupon code: cultofmac Download it

Mystery Masterpiece: The Moonstone – The Moonstone by Wilkie Collins is an epistolary novel from 1868 and is considered the very first detective novel in the English language, even before the most famous novels written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle of the Sherlock Holmes series. Now that we got that out of the way, let’s get to the game. Based on this forerunner of mystery novels, the hidden objects game, Mystery Masterpiece: The Moonstone, takes you to Rachel Verinder’s home during a party where the moonstone, which is actually a diamond (not a real moonstone gem), has mysteriously disappeared and you’re expected to find out who dunnit! There are nine suspects. Was it one of the guests? Was it Dr. Candy or his often ill assistant? Or was it Godfrey Ablewhite, the banker? Could it have been Rachel, herself? Find out. Download it

Escape Rosecliff Island – It’s cold. It’s dark. It’s damp. You’re lost and you don’t know where you are. There’s a cliff. What more does one need on the night before Halloween? In Escape Rosecliff Island, you might have guessed your task: you must escape Rosecliff Island! In this hidden objects game seek and find over 2100 hidden objects in 25 locations. Find two padlocks in each scene to unlock more game modes. This is a solid game of its category and will be a fun diversion in the spirit of ghosts and goblins just before you head out for that ghoulish Halloween costume party. A note: Girls, do NOT go dressed like cats. Guys, don’t go dressed as women. Try to be more creative! Thanks. Download it |
