If you’re searching for a good deal on MacBook Pro laptops, today may be your day. We have two e-tailers vying for your attention. All are Core 2 Duos, with the screen size ranges from 15-inches to 17-inches. Philips also has a $50 iPod universal remote while TigerDirect.com offers this cool Photo ball/alarm clock and dock.

MacMall.com offers the Apple MacBook Air Intel Core 2 Duo 1.6GHz 13.3-inch Notebook, model no. MB450LL/A, for $1,349.99. This $250 mail-in rebate drops the price to $1,099.99. Shipping adds around $7. (That’s $50 below our August mention and tied as the best total price we’ve seen for a new, factory-sealed MacBook Air with an SSD; for comparison, Apple charges $100 more for a refurbished unit.)

Features include an Intel Core 2 Duo SL9400 1.8GHz dual-core processor, 13.3-inch 1280×800 widescreen LCD with LED backlighting, 2GB RAM, 64GB solid state drive (SSD), 802.11n wireless, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, multi-touch trackpad, and an iSight webcam. Rebate ends September 30.

Buy.com offers the iHome Portable Speaker System for iPod nano, model no. IHM1B2, for $9.99 with free shipping. (That’s the lowest total price we could find by $3.)
