Espen Horne, a filmmaker in Norway, had an eerie experience with an iPhone and a fire alarm, resulting in one of those Reese’s peanut butter moments.
The next logical step: he made a three-minute clip asking Steve Jobs to integrate a fire alarm sensor on the iPhone.

Steve Jobs has been keeping extremely busy this week. One day after delivering his WWDC Keynote address, Steve headed back to Cupertino to appear before the city council to discuss Apple’s new plans for their campus. While pitching the construction and design of the mega-structure, Jobs commented that the building will look ‘a little like a spaceship.’

When Steve takes the stage tomorrow morning, it’s pretty much a sure bet that he will use the words, magical, amazing, beautiful, and extraordinary a few dozen times each as he introduces the new iOS 5, iCloud and OS X Lion. We’re sure that iOS 5 is going to be great, but the iOSMagic Team has dreamed up something more amazing than even Steve Jobs can deliver.
Apple just posted the full length video from this morning’s keynote. Users wanting to view the event can now stream the entire 72 minute video of Steve Jobs unveiling the iPad 2 by going to Apple’s website (click here for video). Fuze Box, the company behind the groundbreaking meeting and collaboration tool Fuze Meeting, raised the bar for easy multiparty videoconferencing Thursday with the announcement of its private beta for Fuze Presence — bringing multiparty high definition (HD) video to Mac iOS and Android mobile devices.
With many video conferencing solutions tied to a desktop-only experience featuring unreliable video quality and poor latency, Fuze Presence moves the current collaboration space into the realm of H.264 codec technology promising multi-party collaboration delivered at 720P, with high fidelity sound and under 200 ms latency. The technology also supports VoIP, screen sharing, content sharing and a full suite of collaboration tools.
Filmmaker Greg Richters had enough with blue screens of death and viruses. So he made this aggro ode to Microsoft which ends in flames.
“I used PCs all the time but I got fed up with its bugs and constant crashing and so I switched to Mac three years ago,” he tells Cult of Mac.
The video shows a frazzled Microsoft user fighting his virus-ridden PC, until it explodes in its face — something that does actually happen with PCs.
(And a few Apple devices, too, we note. But not as many? And what’s with all the burning and blowing up of innocent computers lately?)
Anyway, the message? “Just say no to Microsoft, get a Mac,” Richters tells us.
