A shell for the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 has reportedly leaked right out of the Asian supply chain, and it has been compared with one of the 4.7-inch iPhone parts that have been making the rounds.
The larger 5.5-inch shell looks very similar to its smaller counterpart, as expected. The design features the same antenna lines and embedded Apple logo casing seen in previous iPhone 6 leaks.
As you can see in the image, the 4.7-inch shell is quite smaller than the 5.5-inch shell. A recent report claimed that the 5.5-inch model will be called the “iPhone 6L,” although that is far from confirmed.
As always, these shells could just be rough prototypes based on what’s to come, but given how late it is in the year, they’re probably very close to the real deal.
Apple is expected to talk about new iPhones at a September 9th event, but opinions are still split on whether the 5.5-inch model will ship at the same time as the 4.7.
