Apple’s official iPhone 6s leather cases are getting a splash of red just in time for the holidays.
The company is now selling (PRODUCT) RED cases for both the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, and will donate a portion of the sales to the Global Fund to help fund AIDS programs in Africa.
The new cases come just one day ahead of the World AIDS Day. Apple released silicone (PRODUCT) RED cases for the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus in September, but an option for the leather cases wasn’t made available until today. Pricing for the new cases start at $45 for the iPhone 6s model and $49 for the iPhone 6s Plus.
As part of its World AIDS Day campaign, Apple has teamed up with iOS developer Supercell for an App Store promotion that will offer decorative items in the company’s game. 100 percent of the proceeds will go to towards the Global Fund to fight Aids.
Supercell is the maker of some of the most popular iOS games, including Clash of Clans, Boom Beach, and Hay Day. Users can purchases special items in all three games starting today.
