The first major update for the new Apple TV just took one step closer to its public release with the third beta build of tvOS 9.1.

Apple’s latest tvOS 9.1 beta is available to developers through the Member Center, or via an over-the-air update for those that already have the second beta installed.

Installing tvOS betas are a bit more complicated that iOS and OS X betas. To get the new software on your Apple TV you’ll need to connect it to your Mac via USB cable and install the update via iTunes after you download it from the Apple Developer Center.

The release notes for the third beta don’t reveal any major new additions. The previous two betas also contained mostly bug fixes and under the hood improvements, as well as some tweaks to networking and scrolling.
