The Apple Store currently has stock of 25 factory-refurbished, previous-generation unibody MacBook Pro notebooks, with prices starting at $929 for Core 2 Duo-based models. Especially notable are the price drops on its selection of Core i5- and Core i7-equipped models. Combined with free shipping, that puts those models at or near lowest-we’ve-seen prices. Sales tax is added where applicable. All come with a 1-year Apple warranty, the same as new Macs. Items are removed from Apple’s site when they sell out. Today only, SquareTrade offers its SquareTrade iPad 2-Year Warranty for $95.99. Coupon code “CLOVER” cuts it to $89.99. At $30 off, that’s the lowest total price we could find for this service, although we saw this warranty for $18 less last week (since expired). eXpansys.com offers the i.Sound Twin Charging Dock, model no. DGIPOD-1500, for $21.99. With free shipping, it’s tied with our mention from two weeks ago as the lowest total price we could find, this time by $2. This charging dock is compatible with any iPhone or iPod with a 30-pin connector. It also features custom LED mood lighting.
Buy.com offers the Fantom G-Force 2TB eSATA / FireWire / USB 2.0 External Hard Drive, model no. GF2000T, for $139.99. This $20 mail-in rebate cuts it to $119.99. With free shipping, that’s $0.06/GB, $30 under our October mention, and the lowest total price we could find by $37. Rebate expires March 21.
