Subscribers can watch content from all three services online and offline, ad-free and on demand, only on the Apple TV app.
“This bundle is a big bonus for Apple TV+ subscribers, giving them the best of CBS and Showtime on the Apple TV app at a great value,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s SVP of Internet Software and Services.
Apple TV+ includes a huge discount on Showtime and CBS All Access bundle
A subscription to Showtime costs $10.99 per month, while commercial-free CBS All Access is $9.99 per month. The deal Apple worked out with ViacomCBS gets TV+ subscribers both for less than half price.
Showtime is one of the premier cable channels, and is making the transition to streaming. It offers first-run movies as well as original series.
CBS All Access has been called the “Star Trek Channel,” as it offers three series based on that long-running franchise. Beyond that, this streaming service has a collection of new and classic shows, and recently added dozens of classic movies to its repertoire.
Of course, the $9.99-per-month cost for this bundle comes on top of the $4.99-per-month fee for Apple’s own streaming service. Though anyone who recently bought an an Apple device can enjoy TV+ for a year.
Apple TV+ offers more than 30 shows or movies available or coming soon. These are all original programs, from the light-hearted fun of Central Park to the Emmy-winning The Morning Show.
