This weeks must-have iOS apps include Nike’s latest to help you track your run stats, professional HTML emails on your iPhone with MarkdownMail, quick and easy invoice creation for your business, and AppShopper’s new app that helps you keep track of the App Store.
Check out a few of our favorite apps from the past week after the break!
MarkdownMail – ($1.99) iPhone – Productivity
The easiest way to compose HTML emails on your iPhone & iPod Touch; send emails with bold and italic fonts, bulleted lists and more. Write emails using the Markdown markup syntax, then preview your messages before sending. Support for TextExpander is also built in. MarkdownMail is a quick and easy way to create professional looking emails on the move.
Nike+ GPS – ($1.99) iPhone – Healthcare & Fitness
Nike+ GPS featured on Cult of Mac earlier this week; it’s Nike’s latest app for iOS that allows you to track your runs without the addition of their $19 shoe sensor. Record your pace, the distance you ran and the route you took, get voice feedback as you run, and activate your personalized “PowerSong” when you need that extra boost. Celebrate your workouts with motivational messages from Nike’s top athletes, then compare your stats, set your goals and challenge your friends online with your Nikeplus.com account.
AppShopper – (Free) Universal – Utilities
If you’re anything like me, you’ll always be checking the App Store for great new games, useful new applications, and waiting for the latest must-haves to go on sale. Now that’s even easier with a great new app from AppShopper; it lets you track the latest changes on the App Store like new releases, updates and price drops. Use the ‘Wish List’ to track apps that you want to purchase and you’ll be notified when they go on sale, or use the ‘My Apps’ feature to keep track of the ones you already own. It’s completely free and should save you lots of money on your apps & games.
Invoice Robot – ($1.99) Universal – Productivity
Invoice Robot lets you easily create formal, professional invoices ready to send straight from your iOS device. Customize your invoices with your company logo; pull recipient information from your contacts list; calculate sales tax, adjustments or discounts; automatically calculate itemised totals; and when it’s finished, send it straight to the payee as a PDF. Features a simple interface that’s easy to use and takes the hassle out of creating professional invoices, quotes, receipts and proposals.Related
