And here’s Percolator, today’s Best Thing Ever for people who love their iPhone photography.

What does it do? It re-renders photos in glorious approximation, creating gorgeous mosaics out of roundels of color.

Or, to put it another way, it makes your photo stuff look like this:

Lovely. My tip: use simpler photos, the ones with large areas of brash color, something for Percolator to get its teeth into. You can fiddle around with the style of the rounded pixels, make them finer or coarser, and choose between two different “servings”; dark or “light n sweet”.
