If you didn’t want to keep refreshing the website, we gave you the Cliff’s Notes on Twitter about Apple’s press conference regarding the antenna issues with the iPhone 4. Here are some of your reactions from Twitter:

I’m sure many others had this reaction as well…

A lot of you don’t give a damn about the Antenna Gate, you’re in the Cult of Mac for life:

And some of you wanted more than just a “here’s a free Band-Aid to fix the problem”:

I don’t think this press conference is going to stop the scrutiny from the media. It’s a tough situation. You’ve got a few people having major issues and a few big publications verifying that the problem exists, yet you’ve got the majority of iPhone users claiming that they’ve had no problems and BETTER reception and data transfer than previous iPhones. Jobs is giving away a lot of money by offering free cases, but it’s just a Band-Aid for those people that are truly having issues.

He started the conference by saying, “Hey, we’re not the only ones!” That was a little “bush league” on his part. This is freaking Apple, no one gives a damn about Samsung and HTC. I’m not having the antenna problems, but I AM having the proximity sensor issue, which he touched on for about 10 seconds.

I would have liked a better time frame for when that fix is going to come out, because today the proximity sensor effed up and muted one of my conversations. My guess is that Apple will still continue to sell iPhones at an exponential rate and we’ll be laughing about Antenna Gate next year when they roll out another iPhone with some kind of protective coating that does not allow our hands to interfere with the antenna signal.
