I like them. I would love to see a low priced small ultraportable. I cant justify spending all that money on an air, but would like something portable and light also.

Hopefully, this Macinhack and a number of others on the web will inspire Apple to bring out their own model. The size would be perfect for someone wanting something lighter than the standard laptop.

I like the white one. The black always seemed to me a more “pc-like” notebook.
I think if I HAD to buy a pc, I’d install Mac OS X in it, even with the update problems.. anything’s better than Windows.
(When I say “if I had to buy a pc” I mean if I had to use only this tipe of computers at work, or if I desperately needed a tiny tiny tiny netbook to travel with. However, I’d do my best to buy a mac, with no complains.)

To me it IS a labor of love! It’s like dressing your kid as a jedi in his second birthday because you are a fan of star wars..

Last comment: my personal opinion on a possible Macbook Nano is: there won’t be a macbook nano. It will be a smaller version of the macbook air, costing more-or-less like a macbook, but with a 9 inch display and a processor slower than my grandma.
It’s like the iPod: in 2001, it costed 500 bucks, and it held only 1000 songs. Today, the nano holds 2000 songs and costs 150 bucks, but there’s the classic that holds a lot more and costs a lot more and the shuffle that holds almost nothing and costs almost nothing.
