Apple is continuing to broaden the number of HomeKit-compatible devices available it sells, with D-Link’s new smart home security camera system now available through its online store.

The $199.95 Omna 180 Cam HD boasts a 1080p night vision camera, with two-way audio and 180-degree field of view, capable of sending video notifications to your iPhone or iPad whenever motion is detected.

Fully compatible with HomeKit, the smart security camera can also work with other HomeKit products. In other exciting features, it uses infrared LEDs to record in night vision up to a distance of 16 feet away, and includes an integrated microSD card slot for backing up recorded video clips and photos.

The stylish security camera was first shown off last month at CES 2017. At present you can only order it online from Apple, although we fully expect it to start appearing in Apple’s brick and mortar retail stores later this month.

The Omna 180 Cam HD arrives at a time when Apple is busy promoting its HomeKit automated home setup. During Apple’s recent earnings call, Tim Cook noted how he uses smart devices to do everything from brew him coffee in the morning to turning on his fireplace when he gets home at night.

Now we guess he’s got a good way to keep it safe and secure!
