Already bored of Pokémon GO? So are millions of others, it seems — but Niantic has tricks up its sleeve to get you back. With an update that’s coming “soon,” Pokémon GO will get daily and weekly bonuses that will encourage you to keep playing.

Pokémon GO quickly became a smash hit when it debuted in July, and it’s one of the most profitable titles of 2016 after more than half a billion downloads worldwide. The mobile game turned smartphone owners into Pokémon hunters — and even helped some players get fit.

But in recent months, excitement for the game seems to have worn off slightly.

Catching a Pokémon every day will earn you 500 XP and 600 stardust, Niantic explains on its blog. Catching one every day for seven days straight will earn you 2,000 XP and 2,400 stardust.

Visiting a PokéStop every day will earn you an additional 500 XP and “a number” of other items — though it’s not yet clear what those will be. Visiting a PokéStop every day for seven days straight will earn you 2,000 XP and “a greater number” of other items.

“If you catch a Pokémon at any time on Tuesday local time, you’ll be eligible for the next daily bonus on Wednesday at 12 AM local time,” adds Niantic.
