Still not come to terms with Apple’s decision to ditch the 3.5mm jack for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus?

If so, you may want to support a new crowdfunding Indiegogo campaign for the so-called Fuze case, which integrates Apple’s abandoned headphone jack into its design — without requiring a dongle to do so.

The campaign has so far raised $13,680 against a funding goal of $60,000, with one month still remaining on the clock.

The headphone jack’s not the only advantage of the case. It also increases the time you can use your handset between charges, with a claimed 2,400 mAh of battery life for the 4.7-inch iPhone 7 and 3,600 mAh for the 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus.

The campaign creators are saying this equates to a “double battery life,” which would certainly be every bit as desirable as the headphone jack innovation. Unlike most battery cases, it doesn’t even add that much heft to the iPhone 7, with a weight of just 2.9 ounces and adding just 0.2 inches to the thickness of the phone.

Users can pick between white, black, gold, rose gold, and blue colors for the Fuze case, and it’s hoped that the first units will be arriving by Christmas this year.

If you want to get involved with the campaign, you can do so at the link at the top of this page. Prices start at $49.
