ZCast, the app that makes it possible to create and publish your own podcasts using nothing more than your iPhone, just got even greater. The version 2.0 update adds a bunch of big features that will make your podcasts even more appealing.

ZCast made a splash when it launched back in January by giving iPhone users the ability to record and publish their own podcasts without special software or equipment. All you need is your phone and the ZCast app and you’re good to go.

Not only can you record shows with ZCast, but you can also live-stream them, and share to networks like Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn. What’s more, ZCast connects you with your friends and colleagues so that you can create awesome content together.

Now ZCast 2.0 is here to make your podcasts even more appealing. With this update, users have the ability to add a description to their casts, provide a cover image, add tags, and assign it to a category. There’s also a new flag for explicit content for casts that require it.

In addition, you now have three privacy settings for your recordings: private, public, or draft. If you’re still working on something you don’t want others to hear, then, you can save it as a draft. If you only want select people to hear it, you can make it private.

ZCast 2.0 is available to download from the App Store now, and it’s totally free.
