It may not be quite the major update Apple TV looks set to receive at WWDC (thanks to the expected Siri API), but if you’re a pay-TV fan of shows from NBCUniversal’s Bravo, Syfy and E! networks you’re in luck because Apple TV just launched three new apps letting you watch content from the stations.
Called Bravo Now, E! Now and Syfy Now, the apps include access to full seasons and current and past episodes of the station’s programs. For the Bravo Now app, this means episodes of The Real Housewives of New York City and Below Deck Mediterranean, while Syfy Now’s lineup includes The Magicians and 12 Monkeys, and E! Now’s includes Keeping Up with the Kardashians and #RichKids of Beverly Hills.
News of the three new apps comes the same week that it was reported that Apple had previously considered buying out Time Warner, and that it is interested in upping its spending on original programming — to the tune of “several hundred million dollars a year.”
While that’s clearly not happened yet, at least this new update provides even more existing programming for Apple TV fans to enjoy. Other NBCU networks already available on Apple TV include NBC, USA, NBCSN and CNBC.
