The Penn Square Mall Apple Store in Oklahoma City is set to become the next brick-and-mortar Apple retail store to receive a “next-gen” makeover.

Planning documents suggest that Apple is spending upwards of $2.5 million on the renovation, which saw the Penn Square Mall site close its doors on April 18.

Although Apple is playing its cards typically close to its chest in terms of its plans, it is likely that it will incorporate the same elements that it did for its recently-reopened Saddle Creek Store in Germantown, Tennessee. In that case, the company added an enormous floor-to-ceiling display — similar to the one shown in December’s “Inside Apple” episode of 60 Minutes, in which Apple’s retail guru Angela Ahrendts walked Charlie Rose through a mockup of a future Apple Store inside a Cupertino warehouse.

Newer Apple Stores also boast tree-lined avenues and a cleaner layout, designed by none other than Jony Ive. There’s no word on exactly when Oklahoma’s Penn Square Mall Apple Store will reopen, but you can expect it to be later this year.
