A printer that doesn't suck.

Epson’s new all-in-one printer, the Epson XP-430, positions itself as an affordable wireless printer that also integrates with the photos on your social networks. You can use the included Epson Creative Print software to link your Instagram account and print out your photos, plus scan and share photos directly to your Facebook. It’s pretty nifty, considering printers are typically some of the most tedious gadgets on the planet.

“The XP-430 allows users to print on-demand from social channels and the cloud, and scan, copy and create projects seamlessly,” said senior product marketing manager Monika Dees of Epson America’s Consumer Ink Jets division.

Like many other Epson printer models, the XP-430 also features a unique ink replacement system. For color printing, it utilizes individual cartridges for each color so you only replace the color you need when you need it. This could same some folks money from having to constantly buy an entirely new color cartridge, although presumably if you’re constantly printing the same colors, this might actually rack up your bills. The printer works exclusively with Epson ink cartridges though, so no trying to look for cheap third-party alternatives.

At $99.99 it’s a wonderfully priced printer for home and family use. As an all-in-one, it can print, scan and fax, plus the social media integration and photo-editing tools are nice perks to have. The XP-430 is available through Epson and major retail stores.
