Task Manager To Round

If, like me, you regularly use your iPhone or iPad to jot down tasks for you to complete, check out the recently-updated Task Manager To Round: a great visually-oriented task manager which presents your “to do” items as a series of bubbles, tantalizingly waiting to be popped.

It’s easy to add tasks, mark them as completed, and move them around in priority as required — with larger bubbles signaling more important tasks, and smaller ones referring to less important ones.

One word of warning: you’ll have to use Facebook or create an account to use this app, but so long as you’re happy to do so, Task Manager To Round definitely comes with my stamp of approval.

Jump Legends

A new adventure game for iOS, Jump Legends puts you in control of your choice of adventurer who has to travel and jump their way through various obstacles, collecting different rewards and treasures en route.

You can think of it as a combination of Super Mario Bros. and Mr Jump, the addictive iOS game that we named one of our best Apple TV games of 2015. What makes it really unique, however, is the game’s big twist: you never play the same obstacle course twice. If you die and have to restart, the obstacles are totally different second (or third, or fourth, or…) time around — meaning that you’ll constantly have to have your wits about you.

Check out our full review here, or download the game and find out for yourself!

Sonic the Hedgehog

Get this — there’s this blue hedgehog that runs really fast and… Okay, so you probably already know about Sonic the Hedgehog, the seminal 1991 side-scrolling platformer which helped cement the SEGA Genesis as the cool kid’s console of choice. Well, jump forward a quarter-century, and Sonic 1 has just landed on Apple TV.

Sequels Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sonic CD are set to follow later this month, but if you’re looking to step back in time for some classic SEGA action, you simply can’t go wrong with playing through the original title first.

On-demand music company Deezer made its service available on Apple Watch for the first time this week — meaning that music fans can now access their Deezer playlists (consisting of a catalog of up to 40 million tracks) from their wrists.

There’s an impressively large amount of functionality for this Watch app, including recommender systems, the ability to select your own tracks, let your mood dictate the playlist, or be kept up to date on the top new artists, tracks and playlists. There’s even an offline mode for listeners to access their favorite music already synced on their iPhone.

Good stuff!
