Instagram is a veritable playground of fascinating photography. The trick is to find accounts to follow that won’t waste your time with snaps of low-quality food or wacky pets. Unless you’re into that kind of thing.

So how do you find folks worth following? By checking out what the people you follow on Instagram are looking at, of course. You can also check out the photos you’ve liked, and add them to your feed if you haven’t already.

Here’s how to follow your friends’ hearts to fuel your Instagram addiction.

Launch Instagram on your iPhone and tap on the little heart icon in the lower right, just to the left of your own Instagram account icon. You’ll see two tabs at the top of the resulting Activity screen: Following and You. Tap on Following to see what the people you follow have liked recently.

Tap through to see any of the photos on Instagram you want to check out more closely. Once there, you can tap on the username of the person who’s photo your buddy liked and then hit the “+ Follow” button at the top of their profile page.

If you want to take a look at your own favorites, you’ll need to dig a bit deeper. Tap on your own little icon in the lower right corner of the Instagram app screen, then tap on the little gear icon in the upper right to access the Options screen.

In the second section, Account, you’ll see a Posts You’ve Liked button – tap there to see all the images you’ve hearted along the way. If you haven’t followed those accounts in a while, follow the above steps to follow them from their profile link. Otherwise, just take a gander at the kinds of photos you dig – might be inspiration for a new Instagram for your own feed.

Now you’ve got two new ways to find some great Instagram accounts to follow. Have at it.
