Some day battery anxiety will not be an issue. Until then, we cope by way of the many charging accessories that exist for iPhones. Lightning cords, docks, power banks, battery cases . . . Every manufacturer claims their product is better, faster or the only one of its kind.

The XI.i.CON by Benchsoft, makes it own bold claims by being all of those accessories in one.

The not-so-touchy-feely name aside, the XI.i.CON aims for comfort and peace of mind that your iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6s or 6s Plus will make it through a full day. It starts with a case that has a magnetic X-link port that attaches to a dock. That dock can plug in anywhere for you to charge your phone or when there is no idle time, use the dock as an external power bank.

The XI.i.CON dock features a 4300 mAh battery. An app lets you control how fast you want to charge your iPhone (the fastest is 2X, according to the company) and when you are in front of your computer, the dock can sync your phone to your computer while it also charges.

Benchsoft is trying to raise $30,000 on Kickstarter and is more than a third of the way there with 21 days to go. There are various funding levels. Currently, a dock and case can be had for $54.

There are a number of companies starting to produce this type of all-in-one charging accessory. This month alone, I featured two others, the PowerGo-Go and the ChargeStand, both startup project currently raising money on Indiegogo.

Which one is best, obviously, can not be determined yet. Glitches in production can delay even the most promising projects and many see the light of day. By the time a device rolls off an assembly line, some other company has produced the next big thing.

Benchsoft has had success with products on Kickstarter. Last year, it raised more than $98,000 for a high-speed smartphone charging cable, making it the first Korean company to successfully raids funds via Kickstarter with a domestic product.
